Terry & Debbie Brown
Lead Pastors
Terry & Debbie Brown have been in ministry for over 30 years. They came to Legacy in the 80s. He has a heart for ministry and growing the Kingdom of God in Auburndale. He and his wife Debbie have two children, six grandkids, and they love getting together and spending time with their family.
GET TO KNOW PASTOR TERRY & DEBBIE:
What is your favorite food? Cracker Barrel
What is your ideal vacation? Anywhere with my grandkids, and somewhere I can fish.
Coffee or Tea? I don’t really drink either. Debbie loves tea, but I prefer lemonade.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? I’ve been to a lot of places, I just like going on cruises now.
What is your favorite scripture? Galatians 6:9
MATTHEW & MONTANA BROWN
ASSISTANT PASTOR | COMMUNITY MANAGER
Matt Brown has been working at Legacy since 2016 and currently serves as the Assistant Pastor. Matt attended Southeastern University and earned a bachelor’s degree in practical ministries and a master’s degree in biblical studies.
Montana serves as the Community Manager at Legacy. She also attended Southeastern University and earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and a master’s degree in business administration.
Matt and Montana were married in April of 2022. They both have a passion for seeing the church get back to the basics and just hold true to the calling given to us in Acts 2.

What is your ideal vacation? The Beach

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? We would love to go to London one day, but specifically Stamford Bridge. COYB!
What is your favorite scripture? Amos 4:1, but only in the NLT version. Look it up!
JOHN & KIM WATKINS
DIRECTORS OF KIDZ MINISTRY
Terry & John and Kim Watkins have been at Legacy since 1995. They started out at the Children Pastors, and since have taken on the role as Directors of Kidz Ministry. They have been married for over 20 years, and have two kids, Kaitlin and Roslin. John and Kim are passionate about local outreach, and desire to see the Kingdom of God grow and to reach the people of Auburndale.
GET TO KNOW JOHN AND KIM:
What is your favorite food? K: Italian food, for both of us. J: Yep, what she said.
What is your ideal vacation? J: Wherever my wife wants to go. Maybe a beach, or mountains. K: We don’t really vacation much, but the mountains sounds nice. And the beach too. Just some time with the family.
Coffee or Tea? J+K (simultaneous): Tea
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? J: Italy, or where ever Kim wants to go, probably Hawaii. K: Hawaii, or where ever John wants to go, like he wants to go to Italy.
What is your favorite scripture? K: Philippians 4:13 J: The whole book of James.
